Getting to contribute to Talos Intelligence was like taking a deep dive into the heart of real-time cybersecurity. Talos is a hub for millions of daily traffic, like the nerve center for monitoring threats and attacks as they're happening. We even had features to evaluate IP addresses from various regions, companies, and countries for their trustworthiness. I mean, how cool is that? During the project's early stages, I was a key player in the development of the website which was built using Ruby on Rails. The most exciting part? Implementing various APIs to receive data and devising an algorithm to assign each piece of data a score. This gave us a dynamic, real-time ranking system for cybersecurity threats. It was an exhilarating challenge, and an experience that truly stretched my development skills.
