As a Database Analyst, I was primarily responsible for maintaining an online database - updating records regularly, and keeping it secure. I had the chance to work directly with government employees and business owners, facilitating connections between buyers and sellers. My contributions extended to web development too. I worked on the maintenance and design of TargetGov.com, utilizing PHP/MySQL in the process. Being part of a company that fostered connection between different stakeholders was highly rewarding, and it also solidified my understanding of how to run a home-based business. It was here that I truly started merging technical skills with customer interaction, shaping my journey as a tech specialist who never loses sight of the end-user.
